COVID Vaccinations

COVID-19 additional doses provide an extra layer of protection to your previous vaccination and keep your immunity levels high. Additional doses use the Pfizer XBB 1.5 vaccine.

COVID Anti-Virals

COVID-19 antiviral medicines like Paxlovid can help people who are at risk of becoming very sick with COVID-19. These medicines are free. COVID anti-virals reduce the amount of virus in your body, so you do not get as sick and you are less likely to go to hospital.​

Life gets busy. So, we offer a text reminder service to let you know your repeat prescriptions are due.

Long Term Condition (LTC) Services

We offer LTC services for patients who take multiple medicines for more than one chronic health condition, including:

  • reconciliation of prescriptions, to ensure your medication is always up to date

  • synchronisation of prescriptions to keep them aligned

  • the disposal of unused or expired medicine

  • regular contact with LTC patients

  • medicine management solutions such as compliance packaging of medicine

  • adjusting the collection of your medication to suit your needs

  • providing a medication card every time your prescription changes.

Passport Photos

Passport photos are available here, both emailed digital copies and printed copies. The photos will go through our passport software which determines the size requirements for each country. We can do baby and children passport photos here as well, please allow sufficient time.

​

You do not need to make a booking, however there may be a slight wait time depending on how busy it is. 

​

The last photos will be taken 30 minutes before closing to allow enough time to take extra photos if needed and to process - Final cut off time is 5:30pm on weekdays and 11:30am on Saturdays​.

Medicine Management Service

Do you struggle to keep track of which medicines to take throughout the day, and when to take them?

We offer a medicine management service, in which we use compliance packing to pack your medicines according to the directions of your doctor, which may help you to better manage your medicines.

​

Ask us about our medicine management service the next time you bring in a prescription, or prior to your next scheduled repeat.

Emergency Contraceptive Pill 

The Emergency Contraceptive Pill (ECP) can be taken to reduce chances of pregnancy up to 72 hours after unprotected sex or contraceptive failure.

Appointments are not required, and our accredited pharmacists can supply the ECP after a private consultation.

A consultation fee applies for this service.

Oral Contraceptives

We can renew your oral contraceptive prescription in the pharmacy, saving you a trip to the GP, if you’ve received an oral contraceptive prescription from your GP in the past three years.

Note: Only selected oral contraceptive medicines can be supplied by a pharmacist without a prescription from the GP. Other criteria will apply.

Urinary Tract Infections

Urinary Tract Infections are a common condition which typically affect women. Symptoms may include pain and a burning sensation when urinating, nausea and vomiting, pain in the lower back or sides, and even blood in the urine. If left untreated, UTIs can lead to serious complications, so it’s important to discuss any concerns with us once they arise.

Our pharmacists can provide advice and treatment for UTIs in women aged between 16 and 65 years, saving you a trip to the GP. Appointments are not required, however certain criteria must be met to access over the counter antibiotic treatment. A consultation fee applies for this service.

Blood Pressure Monitoring

A blood pressure test measures the pressure in your arteries as your heart pumps. We can provide you with a blood pressure check in-store. 

No appointments are necessary, but may be a wait time if we are busy.

Bacterial Conjunctivitis

Our accredited pharmacists can provide treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis. 

​

Some of the common symptoms of bacterial conjunctivitis:

  • Eyes are red, swollen and inflamed

  • Eyes will often have a white to yellow sticky fluid and discharge

  • Vision is not typically affected, however discharge may cause blurring 

  • Eyes feel gritty, irritated and sore

  • It often begins in one eye but can quickly spread to affect both eyes

​

Common reasons a pharmacist may not be able to supply treatment for bacterial conjunctivitis *

  • Patient is under the age of 2

  • Patient uses contact lenses

  • Patients' eye is very painful

  • Patient has had recent eye surgery

  • Patient suffers from glaucoma

 

If a pharmacist deems that treatment is necessary, they can provide you with the most appropriate treatment, without you having to see a doctor.

* This is not a complete list of criteria in which a pharmacist will need to refer a patient to their doctor.

Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is more common than you may think, and – contrary to popular belief – is not a condition that you need to learn to live with.

We can determine your suitability for ED medicines after a private consultation at our pharmacy. If suitable, we can supply your medicine on the same day, saving you a trip to the GP.

Appointments are not required,however certain criteria must be met to access these medicines without a prescription, so drop in any time to speak with one of our accredited pharmacists. A consultation fee applies for this service.

Smoking Cessation

Quit smoking for good with a personalised consultation from our pharmacists. There’s no need to book an appointment, and we can supply smoking cessation products to you in the same visit.

We carry a variety of funded Nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) products, including:

  • lozenges

  • patches

  • gum

 

The supply of NRT products is subsidised when provided by a pharmacist. A consultation fee applies for this service
